Awkwafina

Awkwafina was an American performer and actress. She started by releasing hilarious, intelligently composed lyrics in rap that dealt with questions of racial identity and sexual orientation. She then expanded her audience to Hollywood. The actress was born Nora Lum to Chinese and Korean immigrants in Forest Hills Queens her first experience with music came through the trumpet. She also received classical and jazz training later becoming a hip-hop teenager. When she was in high her schooling, she specialized in the field of journalism as well as women's studies. She also studied Mandarin for a while in Beijing. It wasn't until after graduating that she turned her attention towards music. Her song My Vag, a response track to the Mickey Avalon's My Dick gained viral popularity on the Internet in the year 2012. The track was later included on her first album Yellow Ranger released in 2014. It also included viral hits, such as body positive Queef and a wink-y home tour NYC Bitche$. The song was specifically linked to Awkwafinas NYC, her guide to travel in 2015. Her resume contained both an the musician and author. She was now looking to further her career in acting. Apart from early series such as Girl Code and Tawk she appeared in films such as Neighbors 2. Storks and Bad Rap. In the year 2018, she was offered several major roles like Dude Ocean's Eight or Crazy Rich Asians. In June, she debuted her debut film, In Fina We Trust.
