Linda Edna Cardellini was born in Redwood City, California, to Lorraine (Hernan) and Wayne David Cardellini an entrepreneur. Linda is Italian (from her paternal grandpa), Irish (from her mother), German, English, and Scottish descent. Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson (born 5 April 1989) more popularly known as the stage name Lily James, is an English actress from the UK. She studied acting at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London and began her career with the British television series Just William (2010). Following her role in the role of Lady Rose MacClare in the period drama series Downton Abbey (2012-2015), her first big break came in the title role in the film of fantasy Cinderella (2015).
