Hossack is from Canada. Steinbach. She grew up within Killarney Manitoba and took part in musical theatre plays while a student. When she began her studies at Brandon University, she was a piano major. Then, she switched to studying voice. After graduation her studies, she claimed she wanted to act but was not interested in acting. She studied fine arts at Banff School of Fine Arts when she graduated from Brandon. Hossack was first appearing on stage at the Rainbow Stage as well as at the Muskoka Festival, in Winnipeg.
